Product Creation Process
Fabrics

The main fabrics we use are Natural for shirting and pants, Synthetics for Outerwear and Polos. There is a cross over of Natural and Synthetics on some styles such as Polos when we use a Poly Cotton Back, and also pants for reinforced durability

Natural

Natural fibres – These fibres come from natural polymers such as cotton, wool and down, and provide comfort and thermal properties. They don’t have the strength and durability of synthetic alternatives, so they are often blended with a poly fibre.

Synthetics

Polyamide fibres – An example of polyamide fibres is nylon, which is commonly used in workwear, thanks to its strength and durability. They hold more moisture and dry more slowly than other fabrics however, meaning they are more commonly used as a blend with other, high performance fabrics. Ripstop nylon for its superior strength and longevity.

Polyester fibres – Polyester has become very popular, thanks to its moisture wicking properties and light weight. It isn’t a very soft/comfortable fabric however, so it’s often used along with cotton to provide a durable and comfortable garment.

High performance fibres – Technology advancements has allowed performance fibres to be produced which have exceptional features and properties. Some examples include ceramic fibres, carbon fibre, stainless steel and aluminium, all of which are used in specialist workwear for various reasons (puncture resistance, cut resistance etc.).

Cotton Drill

Cotton drill is quite the versatile material. Not only is this type of cotton fabric incredibly strong and durable, A cotton drill fabric is manufactured with a so-called twill weave. The twill weave gives the cotton quite the unique look, but it also adds strength to the fabric itself. It also makes the cotton fabric a little heavier, which makes cotton drill more suitable for anyone who is looking for medium to heavier weighted fabrics.Cotton drill is perfect for durability and sturdiness, while retaining some of the comforts associated with cotton.

Cotton Ripstop

Cotton Ripstop Fabric is characterized by its uniquely pronounced boxed woven into the fabric. Ripstop Fabrics are crafted with double warp and weft threads woven into a crosshatch pattern that provides thick reinforcement for rip and tear resistance.
